ELDERS
WOODFORDS SENIOR PROGRAM

The Woodfords Senior Program (funded by the Iona Grant Fund) strives to support the social, emotional, physical and spiritual health of members of Woodfords Church community who are 65 and older. Through a wide range of services and activities, from transportation and medical alert support, to learning opportunities, luncheons, outings, yoga, tai chi, book groups and more, the Senior Program seeks to create community and combat isolation. In addition, the program acknowledges that our elders provide a rich resource for the larger church: life experience, time to volunteer, wisdom and expertise. Whether you are at the peak of your career, recently retired, or decades into life as a senior, we invite you to come our and see what the Woodfords Senior Program has to offer.
