ELDERS -

IONA GRANT FUND

The Iona Grant Fund strives to support the social, emotional, physical and spiritual health of members of Woodfords Church community who are 65 and older. Through a wide range of services and activities, from transportation and medical alert support, to learning opportunities, luncheons, outings, yoga, tai chi, book groups and more, the Grant Fund seeks to create community and combat isolation. In addition, the Grant Fund acknowledges that our elders provide a rich resource for the larger church: life experience, time to volunteer, wisdom and expertise. Whether you are at the peak of your career, recently retired, or decades into life as a senior, we invite you to come our and see what the Grant Fund has to offer.

The Grant Fund is organized and administrated by Rev. Tamara Torres McGovern, Director of Intergenerational Engagement and Education. Rev. Tamara can be reached at ttorresmcgovern@woodfordschurch.org or 207.774.8243, ext 107.
